UX Designer on a range of Samsung projects during my time at Barbarian. Worked on projects at various stages, whether assisting managers with scope and timing, contributing to last minute pitch work, being the UX representative in client meetings, or simply consulting and advising designers in the later stages of projects.

Below are some examples of work undertaken for Samsung while at Barbarian. Some of the work was implemented and made live, some never got past the concept or pitch stage. Enjoy!

Samsung Newsroom Search

Given a preexisting site with established content tagging, and little room to move development-wise, and no time to spend, I was tasked with improving the Samsung Newsroom Search experience. I worked with the client and developer to reassess and redesign the experience, repurposing the existing elements to provide a clearer and more functional interface.

My initial sketched wires included an Advanced Search state. After discussion with the Developers we found this was unnecessary and through manipulation of existing content tagging we could greatly simplify the experience.
